It gives me immense pleasure & pride to pen down my message as the Dean of the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (P.G.I.M.S.) of N.M.M.C., Navi Mumbai, which was founded in 2023, which is a first-of-a-kind standalone Post Graduate (P.G.) Medical College in Mumbai & Navi Mumbai area.
Our first batch of P.G. students is joining in the Academic Year 2024-25 this year-end after we obtained the necessary permissions from State (D.M.E.R. & M.U.H.S.) and National (N.M.C.) regulatory authorities.
We have so far received the Letter of Permission for 4 disciplines, General Medicine, Pediatrics, Ob-Gyn and Orthopedics with 17 P.G. Seats to our credit for the 1st Year. We have all the necessary infrastructure and equipment to run these 4 P.G. Courses at our P.G.I.M.S.
We promise to provide the best clinical exposure, academic program, accommodation, food, and other technical & sports support with the best of security to all our P.G. students through our 2 campuses situated at Vashi and Nerul, where they will find the P.G.I.M.S. as their second home.
I have a wonderful team of dedicated and focused faculties in these 4 disciplines, plus an equally fantastic nonteaching staff. I look forward to meeting the expectations of successfully achieving our desired targets of course completion as per the timeline set by the N.M.C & M.U.H.S.
We are a new P.G. Institute with a lot to achieve and showcase, which will prove to be a guiding beacon for upcoming new & more P.G. Courses that we intend to start in the year 2025-26.
